Best Hotels in Avignon, France: From Budget to Bougie

November 28, 2025 No Comments
Charming European street scene with an ornate vintage clock showing 10:50, mounted on a lamp post in front of a pastel-colored building. The building features turquoise shutters, iron balcony railings, and window boxes overflowing with vibrant red, white, and purple flowers.

You’re probably thinking, “Seriously, another ‘best hotels’ article for France? How original.” Sorry to disappoint, but this isn’t your typical top-ten list. This list of the best hotels in Avignon is for all of my travelers, from the budget-conscious to […]

All Aboard: 5 Exciting Day Trips from Barcelona by Train

This image shows a vibrant coastal town at golden hour, with sunlight casting warm reflections on the water and pastel-colored buildings along the shore. The beach is calm with gentle waves lapping the sand, while palm trees and historic architecture add Mediterranean charm to the scene. The overall mood is peaceful and picturesque.

So, you’ve found yourself in Barcelona, soaking up the sun and sipping on sangria. Sounds perfect so far, but what if you’re craving a little extra excitement beyond the city limits? Thankfully, we’ve got just the ticket—literally! Venture out on […]

Train From Barcelona to Zurich: A 10-Day Itinerary Through Europe

November 15, 2025 No Comments
A sleek white high-speed train blurs across a long elevated viaduct, cutting through a vast rural landscape of rolling hills and patchwork farmland under a bright blue sky. The modern bridge and train contrast with the natural, open terrain, emphasizing efficient travel through remote areas.

I love a good road trip, but sometimes, you want to sit back and relax while someone else takes the wheel. This is especially true in Europe; its narrow roads and tiny cars can kill the vacation vibe. If you’re […]

How to Travel Between the Azores Islands

October 23, 2025 No Comments
A commercial airplane takes off from a coastal runway, climbing into a bright blue sky with the ocean stretching out behind it. The green grass of the airfield contrasts sharply with the deep blue sea and sky.

The Azores are unforgettable—mountain peaks meet the Atlantic, and every island has its own charm (and incredible local wine). But figuring out how to travel between Azores islands isn’t always straightforward. After hopping around myself, here’s what I learned about […]

Awesome Geological Formations in the Badlands of Kansas

October 3, 2025 No Comments
Wide view of a weathered limestone wall formation under a deep blue sky, featuring tall, eroded spires and striated layers. The light-colored rock contrasts with the barren, dusty ground, showcasing the dramatic natural landscape of the prairie badlands.

After my 5-day road trip, I’ve gotta say I have a whole new appreciation for the badlands of Kansas. They are, in one word, badass. They make for a pretty amazing sightseeing adventure, one that’s millions of years in the […]

Unique Things to Do in Kansas: 8 That’ll Win You Over

September 26, 2025 No Comments
A large, cartoonish face sculpture with exaggerated features—freckles, red eyebrows, and a wide open mouth—frames a display case set inside the mouth, giving the illusion that the viewer is looking into the character’s throat. The display includes miniature dioramas and signage labeled “World’s Largest Things,” with informational plaques and artwork panels on either side.

Don’t let anyone ever tell you Kansas is boring. Having been there myself, I can tell you there are countless unique things to do in Kansas. From murder mysteries in Wichita to cool rock formations in the northeast, this state […]

5 Days in Kansas: The Ultimate Road Trip Itinerary Across the Sunflower State

September 19, 2025 No Comments
A towering mural painted across several grain silos depicts children holding hands, rendered in soft, lifelike tones. The artwork contrasts beautifully against the deep blue sky, transforming the industrial structure into a striking public art installation.

So, picture this—you’ve got 5 days in Kansas, a tank full of gas, and nothing but wide-open roads ahead. Sounds kinda random, right? But trust me, Kansas is packed with cool little surprises, from wild rock formations to wineries you […]

4 Weird Towns in Kansas: Kick Up Your Boots

September 12, 2025 No Comments
Colorful illustrated art installation of Lucas, Kansas, featuring the words “Lucas Grassroots Art Capital Kansas” in bold letters surrounded by scenes of local heritage. The artwork depicts historic downtown buildings, immigrant ancestors, wheat harvests, and notable landmarks like the Bowl Plaza and Post Rock Scenic Byway.

For a state known mainly for plain old farms and flat terrain, there are an awful lot of weird towns in Kansas. Personally, though, I consider that to be a good thing. Weird and off-beat is exactly my specialty, and […]

10 Wicked Cool Things to Do in Halifax

Aerial view of downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, highlighting the star-shaped Halifax Citadel National Historic Site surrounded by green lawns, with the harbor and waterfront skyline in the background, and ships visible in the blue waters of the harbor.

Charming colonial street scene with brightly painted yellow and pastel buildings, white-trimmed balconies overflowing with colorful flowers, red clay tile roofs, and palm trees peeking over the rooftops under a clear blue sky.

Irvine tried to have a chill couple days and I sai Irvine tried to have a chill couple days and I said absolutely not. 😂Started innocently enough—hiking Turtle Rock like a person who has her life together, taking in the canyon views, feeling very “wellness girlie…” That lasted about 45 minutes before I remembered I hate cardio. So I rewarded myself with melon tasting at @tanakafarms because eating fruit off the vine is basically still exercise, right? Sampled every single slice like I was judging a competition. Then things escalated. Hit @holeymoleyirvine and @hijinxhotel.usa for “just nine holes” and ended up in three challenge rooms, one karaoke session, and a couple cocktails deep. My putting got progressively worse and my confidence got progressively higher.Capped off the chaos with wine tasting at @mcclaincellars because my body needed further hydration. So to summarize: hiked, ate melons like royalty, lost at mini golf, gained a wine subscription. @destinationirvine really said “let’s ruin her in the most wholesome way possible,” and honestly? Mission accomplished. Follow @destinationirvine for all the Global Debauchery.AD | #surprisinglysocal #lovingirvineloudly #visitcalifornia #irvine irvinecalifornia @holeymoleygolf.usa

Plot twist: We sold our house before this video ev Plot twist: We sold our house before this video even made it to Instagram. 🏡20 years in DC. One incredible home. Countless memories. THREE DAYS on the market and BOOM—full price offer. @omarmyrealtor and @riseresidentialgroup filmed this gorgeous showcase video and it just sat there, ready, while we frantically Googled “how to pack 20 years of stuff in a month.”So consider this the world’s most expensive “coming soon” post that’s actually an “already gone” post. 🙃DC, it’s been two decades of chaos, love, and way too many trips to Home Depot. Kicked things off at NASCAR’s Richmond Raceway (engines, energy, instant hooked). Then took my luck to Colonial Downs and actually WON! Until I met Cactus, the horse who clearly hated me. 😂Slowed it down with a wine tasting at Jolene and closed it out at Bingo Beer Co. with my fav pornstar martini. THIS ONE IS FOR MY FRIENDS IN CUBA! 🇨🇺 So it’s no THIS ONE IS FOR MY FRIENDS IN CUBA! 🇨🇺So it’s not a Gold, but I will GLADLY take an Honorable Mention in @natjaorg’s Cultural Photography category. 📸I had the INCREDIBLE opportunity to experience Cuba with @wildworldtours last year and—needless to say—I left a piece of my heart there. (@mariathewild’s tours are SUCH a vibe. HIGHLY recommend. Seriously.) 🙌The state of affairs in Cuba (both right now AND in the past) is truly heartbreaking, and I really do think of the amazing humans I met and connected with while there often. 🥺After nearly 80 countries, it was Cuba that STILL managed to massively shape my worldview all over again; how a government does not necessarily represent its people. It’s HANDS DOWN my all-time favorite place I’ve had the privilege of visiting, and if you should have the chance to support the PEOPLE of Cuba, I promise it will change your life. ❤️For all of these reasons (and more), I want to dedicate this one to them. 🤲#cuba #photography #photographer #travel #travelphotography

THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF ADVICE I HAVE F THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF ADVICE I HAVE FOR ASPIRING CREATORS? 👑Five years ago, I was burnt out, constantly sick, and just plain miserable. I took a leap of faith and quit my stable and successful job as a Creative Director to freelance and pursue my travel creator dreams. Little did I know, it would only be a matter of months before Covid shut the world down. 🌎But it worked out better than I could’ve ever imagined... because I joined @sheswanderful and met like-minded women travel lovers and creators. I also started attending Wanderful’s creator conference @witsummit where I met and started pitching travel brands galore. 👯‍♀️After four years of grit and determination (and “a little” help from my Wanderful girlfriends!), I finally took Global Debauchery full-time January of 2025. And I couldn’t have done it without the support of these incredible women. 🙌(BTW, here’s me in NYC this past year SPEAKING at WITS, participating in a little Global Debauchery off the clock with some of my Wanderful besties, and it wouldn’t be me of course if I didn’t somehow manage to spill coffee INSIDE my lanyard.) 💁🏻‍♀️👉 The best advice I have?
